The purpose of Women’s Running Community (WRC) is to INSPIRE and MOTIVATE women everywhere who take on Running and are NOT afraid to GO THE DISTANCE!!!! We want this website to be a place where women who are PASSIONATE about RUNNING come together to celebrate and get MOTIVATION, INSPIRATION, advice, tips, support, deal/giveaway, reviews on running clothes and products.
At the same time, we believe that it’s perfectly okay for us to be paid for the time and effort put into this website. We have a number of costs associated with running a blog of this size — server space, tech help and more. WomensRunningCommunity.com’s revenue is generated in two ways: 1) paid sponsorships and 2) affiliate links. An affiliate link means that we earn a small commission of the sale if you click on a link from our site and choose to purchase a product at that site. So sometimes when you purchase a song or an ebook, etc via a link from our site we maybe earning a small commission from the manufacturer/company. We also accept paid advertising on our website’s sidebar and use affiliate links on deal posts when they are available.
However, because our integrity is much more important than making a quick buck, We always seek to have your best interests in mind first and foremost. If it doesn’t benefit you, we won’t post it — no matter how much someone is willing to pay us to do so. While we may at times receive samples from manufacturers so that we can review their products, the views and opinions expressed on this site are our own and we are never paid for these articles (and we often give these freebies to you) unless explicitly disclosed and labeled as a sponsored post.
