Thank you so much for taking the time to contribute your thoughts, experience, and inspiration to WomensRunningCommunity.com readers! Before you begin typing away, please read our core values (to ensure that your post is in line with WRC’s mission and core values) and the following guidelines. Please feel free to contact us with any questions.

Think WOMEN RUNNERS: It may sound obvious, but WRC’s target audience is made up of women runners who love all things running, fitness and health related. So it only makes sense that our content should remain under the broad category of running, within which you have a ton of subtopics to choose from – the experience of running your first mile, 5K, 10K, half, marathon, or ultra-marathon, injury prevention, tips and tricks, cross-training exercises to help you become a stronger and faster runner, healthy recipe ideas, and etc. At the end of the day though, we are all runners just striving to be the best and healthiest version of themselves. If you have an idea that interests you and your friends, then our readers would probably love to read about it too!

Think CONNECTIONS: We encourage you to think critically about ways to engage your audience. Try to include clever and catchy post titles that draw people in or spark curiosity, and give your readers a reason to comment by asking questions – ‘So tell me, how do you overcome a bad race or workout?’

Most Importantly: Write what you love, and love what you write!

  • Use of bullets, lists and short paragraphs is highly encouraged as it makes reading much easier.
  • Please make a concerted effort to use correct spelling, grammar and punctuation. Due to time constraints, submissions which require excessive editing cannot be accepted.
